The Bedford Pantomime Company

The Bedford Pantomime Company is a community theatre group - and that means that YOU could be onstage alongside our established stars next Christmas. Auditions are open to all and all you need is talent and commitment. We'll be needing people of all ages, so if you think you've got what it takes get in touch. It's very hard work but great fun and very rewarding. Each year we've made stars of newcomers so don't think you haven't a chance.

This year we are holding two sets of auditions. Most of the principals were auditioned in June. Remaining principal parts including Muddles, Spirit of the Forest, Dwarfs, Flash the horse and smaller parts and chorus will be auditioned in September.

September auditions are on Sunday 12th September at 2.00pm with a single preparation on Wednesday 8th September at 7.30pm. Both are at Livingstone School, Clapham Road, Bedford, MK41 7LG

We hope to make some dwarf and chorus parts available for children (over 12, under 16) unless recent changes to child protection legislation make that impossible. Under 16's are not allowed to perform the entire run without a break, so they will miss some shows.

Note that we are a community theatre group so all our actors, singers, dancers and backstage crew do it for the love of pantomime and receive no payments.
